The Mixed-Up Chameleon by Eric Carle is a magical story about a chameleon who was not satisfied just changing colors and catching flies. The chameleon wanted to be smart like a fox, to swim like a fish or to run like a deer. He got his wish and soon he was a little bit of this and a little bit of that. He was so mixed up, he couldn't catch flies anymore.
