Each DVD includes up to 12 clips from films such as The Lord of the Rings, Glory, Drumline, Shrek, Star Trek, Remember the Titans, Ice Age, and Akeelah and the Bee along with a comprehensive study guide, written by educators, that provides movie plot summaries, standards-based lesson plans arranged around a theme, discussion questions, and activity suggestions. Each clip can be viewed with either Spanish or English subtitles and, in some cases, Spanish audio. Use these DVDs to engage students in reflection and stimulating discussions about character and moral action.
