Quick Overview

Even in banking, you have to treat others the way you want to be treated. Instead of saying I want it all, we should be saying: I want my fair share. We need to integrate our religious values with our financial values.

Product Description

Beginning in 2007, the world economy suddenly tanked. The United States quickly ceased being the economic leader of the world, although most citizens don't know that. Most Americans, however, do know their own economic losses have been enormous.

Many will be surprised to learn that for at least 30 years, the self-interest assumption of the School of Economics at the University of Chicago led by Milton Friedman, Alan Greenspan and others has dominated the world of banking and commerce. Friedman now admits there was "a flaw" in these beliefs about self-interest and market forces. Greed doesn't work. He said he was in a "state of shocked disbelief."

Even in banking, you have to treat others the way you want to be treated. But that doesn't make a lot of sense when you believe the commercial of Chase Bank: "I want it all...I want it now." Instead of saying I want it all, we should be saying: I want my fair share. We need to make sure others have their fair share, too. Instead of saying I want it now, we should be saying: I need to save and discipline myself and think of others and be fair with them.

This book can change your life. On one hand, it rejects the selfishness of greed. On the other hand, it rejects Marxist redistribution of wealth based on class hatred. We need to rediscover self-discipline, thrift, moderation and restraint.
