Use these engaging downloadable activities to reinforce the lessons taught in the storybook Peace! From the Inside Out. These activities are best suited for children ages 6-10.
The five Downloadable Activities include:
Activity 1 – My Symbol of Peace – Students will use art to show what peace looks like in their heart and community. Worksheet included.
Activity 2 – Daily Acts of Peace – Students will remember and reflect on the different ways they help create peace during the day. Calendar worksheet included.
Activity 3 – Peace in Every Sense – Students will use their imaginations to explore what peace looks, sounds, feels, tastes, and smells like. Worksheet included.
Activity 4 – Peace Poem – Students will write an acrostic poem to express what peace means to them. Poem worksheet included.
Activity 5 – Peace Train – Students will decorate train cars to create a Peace Train that shows what peace and kindness look like. Worksheets included.
