Description
Use these engaging downloadable activities to reinforce the lessons taught in the storybook Peer Power. These activities are best suited for children ages 6-10.
The five Downloadable Activities include:
Activity 1 – Helpful or Hurtful – Students will decide if a given situation shows a "helpful" or "hurtful" way of trying to influence someone. Activity Cards included.
Activity 2 – Make a Change – Students will reflect on and write about a time when they did something that influenced others in a positive way. Worksheet included.
Activity 3 – Poster Time – Students will create motivational posters to encourage and celebrate making good choices.
Activity 4 – PAWS-itive Peer Pressure – Students will recognize and honor peers who use positive peer influence to make a difference and help build a supportive learning environment. Cutouts included.
Activity 5 – What Can You Do? – Students will identify one action they can take in various school settings to positively influence others. Worksheet included.
