Description
Students will use their creativity and imagination to create a story of their own on the meaning of good sportsmanship. From Bryan Smith's If Winning Isn't Everything, Why Do I Hate to Lose? Activity Guide, this lesson offers a great blended learning opportunity to discuss the solar system in science class or different cultures in social studies class. Discuss as a class the importance of sportsmanship and have students work independently or have students break into small groups to discuss and write the story together.
This exercise is recommended for grades K-5.
