Description
Read Stephie McCumbee’s storybook Spacing Out! to your students and follow up with this exercise. Students will use their creativity to design bookmarks that can be used to teach others about the skill of “Completing Tasks.” Extend the learning with Spacing Out! Activity Guide with more to choose from!
This exercise is recommended for grades 2–5.
Materials needed:
- Spacing Out! storybook (recommended)
- “Create a bookmark” worksheet (provided as a PDF)
- Colored pencils, pens, markers
- Scissors
