Students will learn that a team is only as strong as its individual members! From Julia Cook’s BEST ME I Can Be! series is an engaging activity to accompany her storybook Teamwork Isn’t My Thing, and I Don’t Like to Share! This activity consists of creating mobiles out of metal hangers and will allow students to list and share their strengths. Extend the learning with Teamwork Isn’t My Thing, and I Don’t Like to Share! This exercise is recommended for grades 2-5.
Materials needed:
- One blank piece of paper per team member
- Pens or pencils, fine line markers
- Letter cut-outs (provided as a PDF)
- One metal hangar per team
- Yarn
- Hole Punch
- Construction Paper
