Being responsible often means asking for help when it’s needed. Use this creative slogan-generating activity to help students relate how to be responsible by asking for help. From Julia Cook’s BEST ME I Can Be! series is her storybook I Just Want to Do It MY WAY! The activity will accompany this story and will help teach the skill of being responsible to students. Materials needed:
- Markers, colored pencils, or poster paint
- T-Shirt pattern
- Paper and/or poster board
- Pencil or pen
- Plain white t-shirt (optional)
- Clothing paint or permanent markers (optional)
