Use these engaging downloadable activities to reinforce the lessons taught in the storybook, My Magical Mindset! These activities are best suited for children ages 4-8.
The Five Downloadable Activities include:
Activity 1 – Connecting Coping Skills to Emotions – Students will identify one or more coping skills they can use when experiencing big feelings. Worksheet included.
Activity 2 – Design Your Magical Mind! – Students will sketch pictures of what they think their minds look like when experiencing certain feelings. Handout & Worksheet included.
Activity 3 – Storytelling – Students will recall and describe a situation where they used a coping skill to help them successfully deal with big feelings. Worksheet included.
Activity 4 – Storybook Scavenger Hunt – Students will practice teamwork and attention to detail by finding various objects in the storybook. Handout included.
Activity 5 – Matching Game – Students will play to practice and demonstrate a variety of coping skills. Coping skill cards included.
