Description
While we can't eliminate feelings of envy and jealousy, we can teach children early on how to cope with these difficult emotions. Learning to recognize jealousy can help children avoid low self-esteem, as well as feelings of aggression or loneliness.
Author Lisa M. Griffin has developed five excellent activities to accompany the storybook, Green-eyed Goose. Through writing prompts, drawing, and discussion questions, these activities are designed to remind children in grades PreK through 4, that being grateful for what they have is most important and to always work hard to earn more of what they want.
Five Downloadable Activities include:
- Let's Talk About Feelings
- Gratitude Walk
- Draw Something Special
- Feeling Upset
- Coloring Pages
Green-eyed Goose is recommended for these activities.
