Learning to report dangerous behavior can be difficult for children who live by a code that frowns upon "snitching." They may be unable to identify the difference between "snitching" and reporting and may fear for their reputation or even retaliation if they do report. Fortunately, with the help of these downloadable classroom activities, children will learn to distinguish between actions that should be reported to an adult and those that are best ignored. Students will also learn how to identify bullying behaviors amongst others and finding someone they trust to talk to during a difficult situation. These six activities have been developed to use with students in grades K through 3. Included are worksheets, discussion questions, and reproducible templates to help associate certain emotions in tough environments and situations.

Six Downloadable Activities include:

    • To Report or Not to Report?
    • Feelings in Your Body
    • Is it Bullying?
    • Who Can I Trust?
    • Rhyme Time!
    • Pledge to Report

My Name's Sammy, and I'm No Snitch is part of the Chicorée Elementary Stories for Success series and is recommended for these classroom activities.
