The purpose of this activity is to encourage students to think about working in teams or groups as an opportunity, regardless of who their partner is. Start by reading the chapter book Middle School Misfits: The Stained Glass Tree and discuss the different scenarios that the main character went through when having to work in a small group. Follow up with the "Tough Teams!" worksheet to further discuss other events that took place throughout the story revolving around teamwork.
